Relax and unwind in true style with a private chef for the evening.  enjoy canapés while one of our team of chefs prepared you a 3 course menu of the very best of season British produce grown right here at Heron Farm or sourced from our local suppliers across Devon.

All menus are bespoke to your needs and dietary requirements and cost £50 per person to include canapés, three course meal and drink pairings for each course.

Spring/summer menu

Starter

Taste of the garden – whipped goats cheese; charred, pickled, smoked and raw baby vegetables; leaves and flowers; soy-roasted seeds

 

Mains

Roasted chicken supreme, onion puree, grilled leek, salsa verde

Vegetarian option: beetroot tarte tatain, onion puree, grilled leek, salsa verde

Higher price option: Lamb served two ways – pink and braised – onion puree, grilled leek, lamb jus

 

Sharing sides

Roasted new potatoes, brown butter, herbs

Shaved courgette salad, broad breans, peas, preserved lemon dressing, herbs, toasted almonds

Marinated roast carrots

 

Dessert

Brown sugar meringue, roasted apricot, creme diplomat, spiced caramel sauce

 

Autumn/Winter

Starter

Pan-fried hake, yellow pea dahl, pickled carrot and toasted seeds

Vegetarian option: vegetable pakora, yellow pea dahl, pickled carrot and toasted seeds

 

Mains

Smoked pork, crackling, celeriac puree, grilled onion, roasted apple, jus

Vegetarian option: vegetable wellington, celeriac puree, grilled onion, roasted apple, vegetarian gravy

Dauphinoise potatoes

Sautéed greens dressed in garlic and lemon zest

Griddled crown prince squash, spiced pumpkin seeds

 

Dessert

Chocolate and sea salt tart, cider-poached pears, hazelnut praline, stem ginger and honeycomb ice cream
