We like to farm with nature firmly in mind and the vines on the site were chosen as they are naturally resistant to many of the common diseases that afflict vines growing in cooler Northern climates. This allows us to eliminate the use of pesticides and move to working to protect the farms plant & wildlife species naturally, ensuring our agriculture is neither too invading or intensive.
We are constantly working to consider how we sustainably manage our vineyard marrying with our overall ethos, which is to be as sustainable and environmentally conscious as we can.
The size of our vineyard means we do not have our own winery on site. Instead we work closely with with the reputed and award-winning winemakers Simon Day of Haygrove Evolution winery, and Steve Brooksbank of Bagborough Vineyard winery calling on their meticulous care, experience and unique blend of winemaking skills.
We make small batches of wine, reflecting both the terroir and the vintage year and produce an award-winning sparkling wine, a still rosé wine, and 2021 award-winning still white wine.
