Riverside Conservation

Did you know a wide range of wildlife call Heron Farm home including a healthy population of both beavers and otters.  We work alongside Devon Wildlife Trust to create a natural habitat for both them and us to enjoy as you walk along the Otter & wolf rivers which run through and alongside the farm.

We love to host anyone interested in learning and helping us with what we do here at Heron Farm, from beaver habitat conservation to market gardening and fruiting tree care our groundskeepers and gardeners are always up to something!  They would love for you to join them and share their knowledge with you.

All of this in our beautiful walled garden, which sits alongside our unique ‘Grand Designs’ building.

Add a happy play park & orchards along with friendly sheep, vineyard tours and tastings as well as our own Heron Farm & Vineyard wine, juice, gin and produce to take away.

Find us nestled the outskirts of the market town of Honiton in East Devon, just that extra mile off the A30, in a pretty village called Weston!  We look forward to welcoming you!

"Recently held my 60th birthday celebration at Heron Farm on a beautiful sunny Saturday evening and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the initial enquiry to the evening itself, nothing was too much trouble. Ez was brilliant throughout and, along with the rest of the team, was always on hand to make sure we had the best evening. We opted for the garden barbecue - the food couldn't be faulted and was accompanied by Heron Farm's own wines which also went down very well! The youngest at the party was 8 months, the oldest 83 and everyone had the best time, If you are looking for a venue for a private event, then we would highly recommend Heron Farm."

"We had a hen do at Heron Farm for 15 of us, I didn’t want a full on do and this worked perfectly. The venue is beautiful, the vineyard tour was amazing and we had Adam and Katie and they’re both an asset to Heron Farm. The choice of wine tasters you get is amazing and served in proper glasses. I’ve done a couple of vineyard tours and this is the best one. Unfortunately one of my friends couldn’t partake in the vineyard tour but enjoyed the lunch. The food was superb. Therefore we shall return so my friend can partake in the tour. Have no hesitation in recommending Heron Farm. Beautiful and thank you all."
