Hi, my name is Charlotte, and I am based on the edge of the Blackdown hills in Devon near the borders of Somerset and Dorset.
I set up my flower farm in 2020 and have been growing and providing flowers and foliage for bouquets and events ever since. My default look is mud under the nails and windswept hair, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love taking nature as my inspiration for my displays and believe in using the organic shapes to create spectacular pieces.
The wildlife that lives in and around my plot is always at the forefront of how I grow. I don’t use any artificial pesticides, fungicides or fertilisers and only use peat free compost or manure on my beds. The flower patch has been constructed using the ‘no dig’ method to ensure that the soil is minimally disturbed to allow the many creatures found in the ground to optimally function.
I fully believe that flowers should not ‘cost the earth’ and am immensely proud that as well as producing beautiful blooms my patch is also home to a wide variety of species, no wonder my happy place is sat on the steps of my potting shed and admiring the view!
I can’t wait to share my love of blooms and natural arrangements with you all.
