Clay Mug Crafting Workshop with Clay & Salt Ceramics

Friday 6th November 11am-1pm

Join potter Amelia from Clay & Salt Ceramics at Heron Farm for a relaxing morning crafting your very own mug! A perfect treat for yourself or to gift a loved one.

The workshop will begin with a demo of key hand-building techniques and tricks, before you choose from a variety of mug templates and get building. Amelia will be providing assistance when needed as you create. All materials and tools needed are provided. Absolute beginners welcome!

You’ll be working with white clay and will have the option of adding underglaze (pottery paint) to your finished mug to give it an extra personal touch.

After the workshop, Amelia will take your mugs back to her studio to dry them out, fire them and add a glossy, transparent, food-safe glaze for a professional finish. Your finished mug will be ready to collect from Heron Farm during their opening hours approximately five weeks after the workshop.
